Reason for closure of Hyperloop One or Virgin Hyperloop one
Hyperloop One, which started in 2014, got over $400 million in support, mostly from the UAE’s DP World and British billionaire Richard Branson.
The company also built a prototype hyperloop system, also known as System F, in the Nevada desert in 2020. The system F reached a top speed of 107 mph (172 km/h) in a 546 yd (500 m) test run.
They decided to stop working on Hyperloop One because they weren’t getting sufficient investment.
