The Beekeeper: Story Line
Eloise Parker, a solo-living schoolteacher, has a tenant named Adam Clay residing in her garage. Clay used to work for a secret group called “Beekeepers,” but now enjoys a peaceful life as an actual beekeeper. Eloise Parker sadly loses over 2 million dollars, most of it from a charity she oversees, after falling for a scam. Heartbroken, she takes her own life.
Verona Parker, an FBI agent and Eloise’s daughter, arrests Clay upon discovering the body. Once Eloise’s death is declared a suicide, Clay is set free. Verona informs him that the organisation behind the scam has been under the FBI’s watch, but catching them has been challenging, and she doubts they’ll face justice even if they are located.
