Firstly, talk about the budget. “Dune: Part Two“ had a budget of $190 million and made $626 million at the box office. This movie has grossed $252.4 million in the United States and Canada and $373.7 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $626.1 million. The Hollywood Reporter estimated that this film needed to gross $500 million at the box office in order to break even.

In the United States and Canada, the movie sold more advanced tickets than another big film called Oppenheimer. Experts predicted it would make between $65 and $80 million in its opening weekend from over 4,000 theatres. Internationally, it was expected to earn $85 to $90 million from 71 different markets, making a total of around $170 million worldwide. On its first day, the movie brought in $32.2 million, which included $12 million from early showings on February 25 and 29. IMAX screenings contributed $4.5 million (around 38%) of the total earnings. Overall,this movie gets a good response and is a blockbuster at the box office.
